How a payment moves

Four steps, and the money never touches us.

A demand draft is a check your customer authorizes without signing it by hand. DepositMark handles the authorization, the verification and the paper. Your bank handles the money.

You send a link
Create a payment by API and send your customer the secure link, or put it on your checkout.
They confirm their bank
Your customer enters the account and logs in to their bank, so we know the account is theirs.
They authorize it
One written authorization, for one amount, to one business. They read it and accept it.
You print and deposit
We return a check with a bank-readable MICR line. You deposit it like any other check.

Where the money goes

We never hold your money.

A processor collects your sales, keeps them for a while, and pays you out. DepositMark is not in that path at all. The check is drawn on your customer's bank and deposited at yours.

Three checks before the check.

Your customer logs in to their own bank. We compare what the bank says with what they typed, and a payment is approved automatically only when all three agree. Anything less waits for a person to review it.

A small API creates the payment link, reports each step and returns the printable check. Every authorization is stored exactly as your customer read it, with the time and the address it came from, so you can show your bank what was agreed.

The link opens a secure page showing who you are paying and how much. You enter your bank account, confirm it by logging in to your bank, and accept a one-time authorization. It covers that single payment only. We never see or store your bank login. To cancel, contact the business named on the page, or write to [email protected].
